Beautiful Booties.

Today I was in town, mainly to get cleaning stuff/paint for the flat, as I'm currently trying to (painfully) restore it to it's former glory before we move out. I tried to stay away from the sales, as I want to save my money to buy pretty things for the new flat however Mum wanted to go to Peacocks. I went to look at the shoes, and I spied a beautiful pair of boots, which I tried to buy a couple of months ago, standing alone. I looked at the tag and it read £10.00, then I looked for the sizing, size four! DONE.

I love them so much, and as they were the only pair left it would actually be rude not to buy them! (See me trying to justify my spending?)

Aren't they beautiful?

Cheryl Coles Footwear Collection.. My Pick.

When I first found out about Cheryl Cole's shoe collection, I presumed she would be doing an affordable range of shoes for young women. She described her range as 'killer heels that don't kill your feet.'
To be honest, only a couple really stood out for me, and I don't think I like them enough to fork out £120 for them! I expected a collection which was far more edgier than this. And considering most of her fans are in the 16-25 age range, the prices are a bit steep. Although the quality of materials she has used are obviously really high. Here is the whole collection.

The 'Ri-Ri' boot is inspired and named after Rihanna, the 'Young Royal Hotness' is inspired after Pippa Middleton and the 'Byker Grove' is inspired after her roots. And although pretty cheesy, I quite like that.

Overall, I think they are probably a great investment piece if you like them enough. But I cant help but feel a little disappointed in the collection it's self.
Funky Munky - Jane.
A Fringe Tripped Zipped Boot.
£119.85
  • Heel Height: 5" (0.5" platform)
  • Upper: Suede, Lining: Leather, Insock: Leather
  • Country Of Origin: Spain
  • Sole Material: Man made
  • Sizing: True to size
I am in love with gorgeous Burgundy Colour and the leopard print fringing gives the boots an edge to them. I would have preferred a thicker heel, or a wedge though. These also come in brown with plain brown fringing detail.

Cheryl's shoe range is available to buy here and she will be adding more to the collection in the new year.

DIY Studded Shoes.

My new shoes!

Gold Drawing Pins.

Ta-Daaah!

DIY Glitter Shoes.

Tonight I decided I would try and re-vamp an old pair of shoes. I got out all of my crafty bits and bobs and tried to decide what to do.

Old, Marked and Scratched.

Ignore everything but the glue and the glitter... I was going to go with another Idea, but the glitter and lace combo didn't go.

Add Glue to heel, cover the heel with use of sponge.

Shake on the glitter.

In hindsight, I like this much more than the finished product. But they are heavily scuffed and marked so..

I went majorly OTT with the glitter!

BEWARE: cover your area well. The glitter gets EVERYWHERE! Even in my red wine.

Day Off.

This morning was lovely, after a 64 hour week last week, I was determined to actulally have a proper lie in, and got up art quarter past one! I bloody well needed that thank you! Lee was a complete darling this morning and made me porridge and coffee and had done all the washing up.
Then we went in to town and i bought myself a few bits..

I adore second hand books with messages inside. A story inside a story if you will.

Necklace.

I'm iin LOVE with this! £4.00 too, BARGAIN! Charity shop.

I walk past these everyday on my way to work, today i took the plunge and bought them. I was suprised that they were just £20.

I'm a naughty girl I know, i'm supposed to be saving for my weekend away in December but I am a weak person!
