Todays Purchases.

£1.00 Charity Shop. This makes me think of spring! I love pastels in the Spring/and Summer.

These were also from a charity shop and were £1.00 each. I just need to mmaster the tieing process with out looking like an extra from 1960's Corrie!

A midi- pleated skirt £1.00. I (badly) cut it in to a mini but luckily the underskirt looks awesome a bit longer at the front.

I bought this lipstick from an ace shop we found with loads of cheap make up in. Remember those shops from the 90's with the chemist stuff, hiar dye and cheap make up in? Yeah one of those!

Have you ever tried getting a picture of JUST your lips when you have a face mask on? Yeah me too! Anyway, this is the colour of the lipstick, It's pretty dark for my skin, so to be reserved for those very brave days!
Today Mum, Sach and I went to Dorchester shopping and then for luch. An ace day was had by all! Lunch was AMAZING, foccicia with goats cheese and rosemary.. mmm. The Boyfriend wants me to go and watch the football with him in a bit, not sure i'm up to it, loads of men, beer and shouting. I always make silly remarks that I think are OK, and only once in a while they make sense apparently. Hope you all have a good evening!

My Week in Photos #1

I am going to start doing a new installment, I love reading other peoples 'week in pictures' so I though I would start doing my own. Far from original but it's something I'd like to look back on over time.

1. FINALLY bought me some holo nail varnish. It was a cheapy one, from a brand called 'technic' and was on eBay but has now sold out. It was £3.50 so I wasn't expecting much but it's actually really good, and had a good lasting power!

2. We went for a walk along the beach the other day and on the way there, we drove past a field with seven Alpaca's in. I love them so had to stop and get a picture! They are curious looking things aren't they?

3. I took this on our walk down the beach. We then went for a nice coffee :)

4. Moving was carnage, although I have only moved up the road (I know..) I used to live up 100 stairs and running up and down those ALL day practrically killed us.

5. Lee and I are on a bit of a health kick at the moment. Out with the take-aways and in with the lentil soup. Bah.

Hello there!

Hi lovlies! Sorry for going AWOL on you all this week but I have been so busy with the move! We are finally settled in now, but there is so much more we need for the flat. I say need, but it's want.
Firtsly I thought I'd share with you some snippets from around my new home.

Are you 'well jel' of the view? Its AMAZING! I could literally sit in the window all day and people watch. Me and my friend think it's haunted though, the bathroom and Lees boy-room is around the back of the property and it's quite scary round there. Hope you have all been great!

Crafty Bits and an Update.

Today I had a really good day, mum drove me and my wife around all the charity furniture shops trying to find a dressing table for the new flat.. (the move is on Saturday, so excited!) I managed to find one in a last minute dash to the last one in town, lucky!
At the moment it's brown, so I'm going to sand it down and spray it white when it gets delivered tomorrow. I also found a really cute little stool which is also being delivered. The table and stool (with delivery) cost me £40 which has saved me a fortune compared to the other ones I was looking at!

I also wanted to update an old lampshade I had, so bought a few beads and jump rings so I could make a start on it today. The ceilings in my new flat are really high, and the light fitting is just infront of the bay window so I wanted something a bit longer, and that looked nice as you can see it from the outside.

Idnore the black beads, I didn't end up using them.

I still think it needs a bit more volume to it, but It'll do for now, it's much nicer than it was anyway!

In other news... here is a little sneak preview of my new hair, I'm waiting for my extensions to arrive before I show you the final product..

I hope you're all having a good start to the year!

Beautiful Booties.

Today I was in town, mainly to get cleaning stuff/paint for the flat, as I'm currently trying to (painfully) restore it to it's former glory before we move out. I tried to stay away from the sales, as I want to save my money to buy pretty things for the new flat however Mum wanted to go to Peacocks. I went to look at the shoes, and I spied a beautiful pair of boots, which I tried to buy a couple of months ago, standing alone. I looked at the tag and it read £10.00, then I looked for the sizing, size four! DONE.

I love them so much, and as they were the only pair left it would actually be rude not to buy them! (See me trying to justify my spending?)

Aren't they beautiful?
