Orange.

Hello! Long time, no blog. I hope you all had a wonderful Xmas, I love seeing all your piccies of what Santa got you! I left most of my stuff at my mums as we are moving soon so can't do mine until the end of Jan.

I have been a bit vacent as we are trying to pack up paint etc etc before the big move. However I thought I'd treat myself to a pamper last night, I bought the bleach and the hair dye to get my hair to Lilac. Unfortunatly, I couldn't wait to get to Sally's like a sensible person would and just bought some regular bleach. This is the result...

Now I am using a colour stripper/correcter and am praying for good results! Although I do quite like this colour. My poor hair...
I used an Iphone App to figure out the colour I want, this is hopefully the result when I have added the lavander colour..

I hope I can pull this off without looking too 'scene'

A Jolly Isobella.

Hey guys!
I bring good news.. (well, for me) I'm moving! I am so excited. Lee moved in my flat about a year and a half ago, and my flat is super tiny, so with both of us in it's bursting at the seams.

The new flat has got two double bedrooms, a small room, an open kitchen/living space, a bathroom, and a separate utility room with an extra toilet. It has a big bay window, which overlooks the sea. I am literally so excited that I am probably making no sense what so ever!

Sooo,we are currently trying to decide what we are going to do, we are hoping that we can fit the bed in the small room, and then have a double bedroom each for our own uses. Lee wants a games room. A typical man-room with xboxes and Wiis and big TVs and all that jazz. I want a dressing room, with an old shabby chic dressing table, with a Hollywood vanity mirror and a nail station. I have been scouring the internet and have mentally spent around sixteen thousand pounds already. I bloody wish!

My run of luck continued with an early Christmas present from the tax man as well. I am so happy at the moment! Today I helped out at a pensioners Christmas meal, it was so lovely. There was a band playing and all of the old couples got up to dance, it melts my heart! One of the tiniest old ladies I have ever seen also had a go on the drum kit!

I am currently watching Tim Minchin on the TV, hasn't he got the most beautiful eyes?

Hope you are all well and looking forward to Christmas!

DIY Candle Display.

You will need:

1. A pretty glass, I used a Martini glass but you could use a chaphane flute, wine glass, anything you like!
2. Some gems/beads. I got my 'wedding confetti diamonds' from this seller here. A broken necklace would be perfect.
3. A tealight. A floating candle would be nicer though.
4. Water.
5. OPTIONAL: Some scented oil.

I don't even need to tell you how it's done do I? It's THAT simple, and I'm not even sure I can class it as a DIY!

NB: It lives on a table in the living room, not on my sink.

PS. I am having a sort out at the moment, and am putting some thing on my eBay. I have some up already, and will be adding more tomorrow. Check it out! It's going to the 'We need a bigger flat, pronto' fund.

All I want for Christmas is..

All I want for Christmas is..
Unrealistic! (Mostly..) Although I have been a VERY good girl this year!

The Versitile Blogger Aaward.

Hey guys!

I can't believe it, but I have been nominated for a versatile blogger award by the gorgeous Natalie at Nats Beauty Bits so thank you very much! Check her blog out, it's bloody brilliant! This is my first award, and I'm really surprised as I haven't been blogging for very long. Chuffed :)

The Rules for this award are super simple:

1. Thank the person who nominated you and give them a shout out on your blog with a link to their blog.

2. Share 7 random facts about yourself.

3. Send on the award to 15 other bloggers whose blogs that you appreciate and then let them know that they have won the award.

Random Facts.

1. I am very critical about myself. I constantly scrutinize my work, which sometimes can be positive, however sometimes I think i'm a bit too hard on myself.

2. I love to cook (it's my job!) and would like to include the occasional food post in my blog, but i'm not sure people would be very interested.

3. I don't really like Summer. I hate being hot, I hate the pure mania that happens in this town and I miss the dark evenings.

4. I have non-exsistant baby toe nails.
5. I had a bout of Aleopecia last year, at the same time as my mum. I had steroid injections in to my head and now my hair has grown back. I'm scared i will get it really badly in future and loose all of my hair.

6. I can pull the most disgusting face, and I have never met anyone else who can do the same.

7. I enjoy trashy TV far too much (Big Brother, TOWIE etc.)

My Nominations.

Tits Mcgee

Today I'm doing a post about something a bit different; My tits! Seriously having big boobs is the actual bane of my life. For many different reasons.
  • Clothing. I can never find clothes that fit me properly, being an 'E' cup and a size 10-12, and only 5'2, I look dumpy and out of proportion. There are so many different styles of clothes that I can't wear because my boobs make it look ridiculous. Smock tops and maxi dresses make me look huge. I can never find fitted button up shirts, I usually have to get a size 18 or even 20 and then it doesn't fit me anywhere else.
  • Underwear. Big bras = Ugly bras. Unless I am willing to spend around £40 on each bra, and I just can't afford that. High street chains like Primark have got a bigger range, but there is a really small selection, and they are usually really ugly. Matching sets that come together are a no-no, as the pants are never the right size.
  • Backache and Posture.  I have recently realised that my posture isn't the best. I tend to haunch forward a bit because of the weight and the fact that my bra straps dig in to my shoulders. I also get back pain when I stand up for long amounts of time, and being a Chef that is my job!
  • Comments and Presumptions. People do stare, 'lads' (you the type..) make stupid, thoughtless comments and some men I have worked with think it's OK to call me 'tits.' If i had a massive arse people wouldn't say to my face 'Wow your arse is massive' so I'm not sure it's justified to make comments about my chest. Once in a club, somebody thought it was OK just to grab them.
Over the years though, I have figured out some staple rules for dressing a big chest;
  •  Stay away from high-waisted shorts and trousers. They draw so much attention to the chest area, and can make you look really top-heavy.
  • V-Necks are the most flattering. This is because the V-neck line draws attenion to your neck and face, and breaks up the expanse of the chest. Obviously choose a V-neck that is not too revealing.
  • Avoid Polo Necks and high round necks. They are so unflattering for larger chests. and make breasts look saggy and distorted.
  • Wrap dresses and cardies are flattering. These are flattering as they draw attention to the waist area, and pull breasts forward.
  • Dresses that are cinched in at the waist flatter a big bust. Again, as they draw attention to the waist area.
Now i can't say I follow these rules all the time, as sometimes I'll fall in love with an item of clothing and forget about what actually suits me! Do you have bigger breasts too and struggle to buy clothes?
