Need.Want.

I need these in my life.
Thank you.

eBay Tip.

Most of the jewellery we buy from Topshop, Warehouse, New Look or wherever is the same. Its great when you but it but the colours quickly fade and the plating quickly comes off, promoting lots of smug comments about your green finger. We can't all afford real gold or silver jewellery, and let's face it, they aren't always as pretty as some high street stores.

I stumbled across some great eBay stores which sell some great pieces. You may have to shift through a lot of 'no's' to find a 'yes', but it's totally worth it. The eBay stores I'm talking about are the Asian ones you think will rip you off. The prices are unbeatable unless you enjoy mugging people and don't mind prison. And the delivery is usually free. It may take up to a month to come, but it's totally worth it!

Here are some links to some nice little stores I have found:

The baby is currently on it's way to me..
Topshop: 12.50

eBay: £0.99

Now I don't mind waiting a month!

Ignore all the claims of it being 'vintage' and 'antique' cause it's not.

Here are some pictures of my buys.

Hope you are having a great Friday and looking forward to the weekend!

Today..

Wow.. captivating title! Today after work I purchased something I have needed for a long time: a decent camera! I'm a total novice, so an SLR just isn't for me, but I did get a lovely little Nikon. in the sale, and i do love a bargain.

So i decided to go for a long walk to test my new baby out. Apparently, I'm not so good at the whole photography thing. Plus my 'long' walk turned in to a short walk due to endless unsavoury-looking characters being about and it being dark. Such a wuss! Despite that, I will share some of the photo's i took with you.

This was taken out of my bathroom window, on zoom. It's called the white horse, and it's about five miles away from my flat. Legend has it that the King George used to holiday in Weymouth, and a local architect created this to honor his love of the town. However as it show King George on his out leaving Weymouth, he was be-headed. Not sure how much truth is in this story!

This is the normal view out of the same window, no zoom. I'm a lucky girl, I know!

This morning at work, the fisherman bought us in some Lobsters, one in particular (His name is Gus.) was a biggun!
R.I.P

Cooked. Next to an 'average' size. (for restaurants)

If you happen to want to cook lobster, the most humane way is to freeze it for ten minutes before (it helps to numb the lobster) and then placing it in to fiercely boiling, heavily salted water. Boil it for 10 minutes per pound, and then an extra 2-3 minutes for each extra pound thereafter. In my opinion, Lobster is nice, but totally over-rated and far too expensive.

Charity Shops.

Today me and my wife went cahirty-shop-shopping. We had a blast although all of the good ones were closed! (Something about Wednesdays, apparentaly!) We still managed to find some good bits. Here are some pictures of what I bought.

Baggy Sunflower Tee. £1.00

Cute Jumper £3.00

<>
Fur Coat £12.00

Gray Floral Shirt. £2.25
St. Micheals Floral Trousers £1.00

Here is what Sacha wore today..
She always looks good. It makes me angry!
Hope you all had a good day.

2 True Nail Varnishes.

Yesterday I was in Superdrug looking for nail varnishes, and this gorgeous red colour caught my eye. It’s part of the ‘2 True’ collection, which is either £1.99 per item or three items for a fiver. Bargain. I think it’s across their whole range of make up too.

I have been obsessed with nail varnishes in the past, and have paid up to £12 for a pot. I was once told that their is only actually four nail varnish companies in the UK and that price is pretty much irrelevant, its just the brand name you are buying in to. (Don’t know if thats actually true…)

These varnishes went on really nicely, i used a base coat of the deep Christmas red, simply called ‘shade 8’ and then painted on ‘shade 2’ of their limited edition sparkle range. I LOVE IT! It’s made me feel really christmassy, the picture is crap due to my rubbish camera, and really doesn’t do the glitter justice.

Not Exactly 'Fast Dry' but Beautiful Colours.
