DIY Studded Shoes.

My new shoes!

Gold Drawing Pins.

Ta-Daaah!

DIY Glitter Shoes.

Tonight I decided I would try and re-vamp an old pair of shoes. I got out all of my crafty bits and bobs and tried to decide what to do.

Old, Marked and Scratched.

Ignore everything but the glue and the glitter... I was going to go with another Idea, but the glitter and lace combo didn't go.

Add Glue to heel, cover the heel with use of sponge.

Shake on the glitter.

In hindsight, I like this much more than the finished product. But they are heavily scuffed and marked so..

I went majorly OTT with the glitter!

BEWARE: cover your area well. The glitter gets EVERYWHERE! Even in my red wine.

Day Off.

This morning was lovely, after a 64 hour week last week, I was determined to actulally have a proper lie in, and got up art quarter past one! I bloody well needed that thank you! Lee was a complete darling this morning and made me porridge and coffee and had done all the washing up.
Then we went in to town and i bought myself a few bits..

I adore second hand books with messages inside. A story inside a story if you will.

Necklace.

I'm iin LOVE with this! £4.00 too, BARGAIN! Charity shop.

I walk past these everyday on my way to work, today i took the plunge and bought them. I was suprised that they were just £20.

I'm a naughty girl I know, i'm supposed to be saving for my weekend away in December but I am a weak person!

DIY Glitter Nail Varnish.

I love glitter so much, but i find varnishes are always better in the bottle than on the nail, even when you pay a lot for them!

Yesterday I bought some glitters from Wilkos and The Work for 99p a pack, and decided I would try the tap on glitter to wet nails and then put a clear top coat over, but it's far too fiddly and fussy for me. So then I had a mini brain wave, why not add the glitter to my half empty top coats?

Pretty self explanatory really, Make a funnel, pour the glitter in to a half empty bottle of clear or sheer varnish, and bobs your uncle!
Really chunky-glitter effect: I like.
Excuse the legnth of the nails, I stuck them all on and then couldn't find my scissors. My boyfriend has taken them to work to use on fish. (he is a chef)
Yes fish.
Men sometimes just don't get it do they?!

China Glaze 'Seasonal Sparkles'

I adore nail varnish, I adore Christmas and I also adore sparkly things. So when I went in to Sally's earlier, I couldn't resist the 3-4-2 on the 'Seasonal Sparkles' range from China Glaze.

The first kit includes;

  • Ring In The Red.
  • Holiday Berry Cuticle Oil
  • Velvet Bow
The Second Includes;
  • Poinsettia
  • Twinkle Lights
  • Champagne Bubbles
These gift-sets were £9.99 each and I picked up another item free. (not telling you as it's an early Christmas present to someone who may read this!)

I am slightly dissapointed in the glitter polishes to be honest, as they dry no where near as glittery as I expected! But the reds are absolutely incredible and the cuticle oil smells AMAZING!

"I don't like painting flowers in my music. I like painting guts and pain."

Today..

I love this little lane.

I bought these lovely glasses from a charity shop the other day, how retro!

Jessie J. WARNING: Lots of standard, blurry, gig photo's.Vino.V

Yesterday, my boyfriend Lee and I went to see Jessie J at the BIC in Bournemouth. She was even more AMAZING than I thought she would be!

I got up early and did a quick zebra-type nail which i really love. The Black is a cheap nail art pen and the brown is Barry M's 'mushroom.' I usually dislike Barry M because their varnishes are really gloopy and take too long to dry. But I love this colour a lot!

Stripy.

The green with glitter half moons fromm before. The green is from Star Gazer but i don't know which shade it is. And the half moons I did with a standard cheap silver glitter.

We decided to head up early on the train so we could do a little shopping at Lee wanted to watch the football. He supports Manchester United and we* were playing Manchester City which is a big thing. (*we? Ahh he is turning me to the dark side..) So as i rarely ever get out out of Weymouth any more, my spirits were high (especially after a few vodkas..) Here are some pictures from the journey.

City won 6-1 in the end and I swear I saw a tear in Lees eye. Then we did a mad dash around the shops as they were all closing and then it was Jessie time.

Vino.

Then we met up with some friends for more Vino.

Inside.

First Act.. Cherry V. Amazing singer.

Then when Devlin came on I went to the bar, couldn't get back to everyone due to the hoards of screaming, and frankly terrifying teenage girls. So I went around a different way and managed to blag my way in to seating. I prefer it, as it was a much better view.

Then I got asked for my ticket so had to go back to standing (ooops!) In time for the lady herself :)

In my mad dash around the shops before hand, I finally picked up a onesie. It was only a tenner from Primark, and despite the fact its like four foot longer than I am, the fact that its a cat makes up for that. Meow.

Excuse the gormless look.

Here are some other bits. All Primark except the travel cup, which was £5.00 from Wilkinson. The Jumper on the left, two bags, some burgundy socks, some reindeer PJ bottoms and some spotty and leopard tights. Thank you Primarni!

So much for this being a short post! Back to work soon :(. I have far too many shifts this week. Today 9-4 then 6-11 as with tomorrow, Wednesday off. Same again Thursday, Friday and Saturday and then 10-5 Sunday.
Pro-plus will be my best friend.
